I was an ATNAN and ended up a ATN- 3 in the reserves out of NAS Glenview, Illinois. I remember a lot of great times in NAS Jacksonville, Florida with the guys in VP- 5. If I had it to do all over again I definately would have stayed in the Navy. The other remembrances were MAA Rolke and at NS Roosevelt Roads, PR I was with the gang that put the . I had collateral duties as Paymaster/Mess Officer and Weapons Loading Officer. How can I find out the name of the radioman or electronic techs aboard. I was supposed to be on that flight; I was assigned to that crew before we deployed. It was a split deployement, the radioman voluntered to go to Iceland, allowing me to go to NS Rota, Spain. I would like to know his name as it was a long time ago.. Joined the deployment at NAS Sigonella, Sicily as a wet behind the ears mechanic and left as a FE (many thanks to Chief Welch).
